Welcome to Tuscaloosa National Airport!
Each football season, we welcome fans, flight crews, and visitors to Tuscaloosa for gameday. To safely manage the increased traffic during these high-volume events, the airport and Ascension FBO coordinate aircraft parking, shuttle service, and ground transportation throughout the weekend. Please review the procedures below before arrival to help us provide a safe and efficient experience for everyone.
The main airport terminal serves as the ground transportation center for passengers and crews parked in overflow areas. Guests can connect with rental cars, rideshare services, FBO shuttles, or personal transportation at the terminal. Seating, college football coverage, and refreshments are also available for those staying during the game or waiting for transportation. Please review any event-specific notices above, as transportation locations and procedures may change for individual games.
Aircraft parking will depend on arrival time, aircraft size, and available space. Aircraft arriving earlier may be accommodated on a FBO ramp. As those ramps reach capacity, arriving aircraft will be directed to designated overflow parking areas, primarily on the west side of the airfield. Shuttle transportation will be provided between overflow parking and the main airport terminal. To support safe movement around active aircraft, please follow airport and FBO staff directions when boarding shuttles or traveling to and from your aircraft.
All flight crews should check in with the FBO handling their aircraft upon arrival to coordinate aircraft services and departure needs. Following the game, passengers and crews parked in overflow areas should return to the main airport terminal for shuttle transportation back to their aircraft.
For games expecting heavier traffic, we strongly encourage arriving Friday or early Saturday to help avoid delays and allow adequate time for ground transportation to the University of Alabama campus. Overflow parking may be needed several hours before kickoff, so please confirm your pick-up location before arrival.
We strongly recommend arranging ground transportation in advance. Pick-ups and drop-offs for passengers parked in overflow areas should be coordinated at the main airport terminal unless an event-specific notice directs otherwise. Passengers parked at a FBO ramp should coordinate transportation directly with the FBO.

Aircraft Parking Map: Please review the parking map linked below for designated aircraft parking areas. Air Traffic Control may direct arriving aircraft to any of these locations based on parking availability. Shuttle service will connect designated overflow areas with the main airport terminal.
